What will baby be?






















Bren and I always knew that we would want to find out the gender of our baby. The idea of calling the baby by his/her name excites me every time. We have been blessed with a nice gesture by an OB who is a friend of my mother in law’s, she will do the gender ultrasound for us for FREE…. How exciting is that… she told me that I will be able to find out at 14 weeks, which is only 4 weeks away.

I can not wait to decorate the nursery I will definitely go all out on the decorating.
My co workers call me Betty Crocker or Martha Stewart because of my creativity.
That will be put to the test with the nursery.

I will be posting some nursery ideas that I have so far.

I praise god for blessing us with this little miracle.

Our little baby - 8 weeks

Our little baby is growing so fast.

At just 8 weeks I able to see the shape of his/ her little body. That was a precious sight. I was also able to listen to the heartbeat and I loved it. I can’t wait to see our baby again…. The only sad part was that Bren couldn’t be there because of work but I did have one of my very close friends ( since 1st grade in elementary school) It meant a lot to me that she could be there. Thanks Maribel  My mother in law tried to make it but because of her work schedule she didn’t make it in time but next time she will.

I am so thankful to god for this beautiful blessing!

Our Baby....

My fist ever Ultrasound.

6 weeks

I had my first ultrasound a couple of days ago.

My husband got to the appointment a little late. The Dr. was in a bit of a hurry so she saw me before my husband was there (I was upset at this) but she did tell me that she would see me again as soon as he showed up. I saw one little sack where the baby is going to start forming and the doctor talked to me for a quick second then asked if I wanted to wait for my husband in the waiting room. I walked into the waiting room and there he was (I was still very mad at him). My doctor called us back in and performed another ultrasound and my husband was amazed by this. The doctor kept looking around and said this "It looks like there might be another sack but it looks empty, you will have to wait until your next appointment.



So there is a slight chance of twins.

we will find out for sure in four looooooong weeks.



p.s. about my husband being late.... I did tell him that if he was ever late again I would not let the doctor re do an ultrasound for him. He better watch out with these pregnancy hormones hahah!

Wordless Wednesday.....

My bosses are making sure that I drink a lot of water since I usually dont.

They made me write down a number for every cup that I drink.

I am PREGNANT..

Our Lil Miracle.......



I had not been feeling good for a couple of days so I decided to take a cheap pregnancy test the day that af was due and it was negative. I acted like everything was okay at work and infront of Bren because he had no idea of my suspicions but as soon as soon as it was time for bed the tears came and they came fast.... (Bren was asleep by this time)



Three days later and still no af so I decided to take another test.... I woke up at 8:00am with a plan.. as soon as Bren went outside to feed our puppies I took another test and it was Positive...

remember Bren had no idea. Bren was in the laundry room starting a load of laundry and I just walked in with the positive test in my hand "Really" is what he said..he was basically speechless and I was shaking.



We have now known for a couple of days. Let me tell you guys that our plan of keeping it a secret for a while DID NOT WORK!!!



we got to excited and told. Everyone is very happy and that only adds to our excitement.





I am currently a little over a month pregnant.
we are looking at having a September Baby..



God is good!!
