Two Birthday Parties in one day.....

We were invited to two birthday parties this past Saturday and we had a great time while my husband was out of town for a couple of days.

Princess Leiah turned 1 and Princess Ryan turned 5.

this is how our day went

Chyanne woke up very early and needed a nap literally an hour after waking up. I didnt mind because I had spent the day before painting and re decorating our living room to surprise my husband when he gets back from his weekend away. (notice the blanket hanging from my door, I put it there to block anyone from peeking through since we were alone lol)

after her two hour nap the house was snippity clean and we were ready for breakfast. She had some peach pieces while I made some eggs and tortilla for us. Our breakfast was delish!! next was shower time :)

I dressed Chyanne in a ruffle bloomer and she looked adorable while playing with her new favorite toys THE MAGNET ALPHABET. She plays for at least an hour which gives me plenty of time to get stuff done.

 well that didnt last long and off she went to play with her new and improved chair that I absolutely love now. Nothing that a little spray paint wont fix

 I wasnt too sure about that ourfit once I saw how large it looked at  the front so I changed her again. she started getting fussy so a bottle later she was asleep and I soon followed and was awakened by a text from Nana (my husband's grandma) telling me that she was at the door and of course Chy woke up as soon as she heard the squeek from the door and off we went to the parties.................

 She enjoyed a couple of toys until I put her in a moving ride and she freaked... crying and all

 nothing that a hug and much love from nana couldnt fix. We then had cake and failed at getting a picture of birthday girl Leiah with Chy.

 we did however get a very nice picture with Chucky and surprisingly Chy enjoyed him until he tried to touch her then it was on like donkie kong so we left to Princess Ryan's party

There they had a slide and I had Chy try it for the first time ever and she absolutely love it

she loved it so much that she lost a shoe. Dont worry though because we found it under the slide

it is hard to believe that she turned five.... I remember going to her moms baby shower yesterday

She saw Mr Rhyder sitting like a big boy eating a cupcake and like that she took off crawling and with some help sat with him and enjoyed her cupcake

enjoyed it a little too much that she needed an outfit change before we headed to my husbands grandparents to visit for a little.

She enjoyed some time with her Nonno G playing the piano and after seeing how excited she was I believe we have an entertainer in her. We went home after a little playing because little girl was exhausted and was asleep by the time I pulled into the drive way and stayed asleep until the next day.

Theme Friday at work.......

This past Friday we decided to dress up as the Jersey Shore Cast.

 I know a lot of people can not stand this show but me I like it and kind of look forward to watching it once a week. I love watching reality shows because they make for good tv.
so think what you think of it.........

our bosses know that we have theme Friday but we never tell them what the theme is until they see us when they walk into the office.
of of our bosses reaction when he walked in was priceless he walked in with his head down looking at his phone and as he looked up a "OH Sh&$" left his mouth and he immediately started taking pictures of us and sending them to his friends.

he loved it and is now loking forward to seeing what we will be dressed up this upcoming Friday.

Chyanne's fun week

Seriously!!  Chyanne has the best baby life ever.
She is surrouded by so much love and she knows it and the most adorable thing is that she is starting to do so many different things like "Mmmm" while she eats, you say ojitos (little eyes) and she blinks really cute, she has an adorable grin where she shows all of her teeth and gums while also lifting her chin and closing her eyes.  She now has four top teeth, four bottom, two molars and I can see that her fangs will be coming in very soon.

I love when people tell me that they think she is one of the best dressed babies. I am very particular and put a lot of thought into dressing her and I feel very proud when people notice.

Chyanne's actual birthday

ONE

Chyanne' actual birthday was a very special one. I asked my bosses for the day off to make the whole entire day about her andd that is exactly what I did.

I invited my mom to spend the morning and part of the afternoon until my husband got off work and she loved the idea. We woke up bright and early and put her tutu outfit on (I had to wash it at least twice to get all of the frosting from her birthday party off) and off we went for a fun day. We went to the mall to have her picture taken and had breakfast there and let me tell you a beautiful baby in a tutu gets a lot of attention and this proud momma loves it. While we waited to be called four her turn to take pictures I took her to the little candy shop next door and bought her a very small candy :) (I dont want cavities)

She put on a show at picture people while they took her picture... she smiled so big and laughed out loud for the whole room to see and this is my favorite picture (this is a picture of a picture and it doesnt give it justice)

After the pictures I wanted to take her to Yougurtland to have a nice yougurt ice cream with lots of fruits in it.... as you can see it was a hit and she loved it (so did my mom)

after a relaxing hour sitting outside having ice cream we went back home where we waited for daddy to get off work to head out to dinner. We visited our favorite mexican restaurant and she ate everything we gave her. Our regular waiter brought a bowl of ice cream with a candle and we started singing happy birthday and then she FREAKED screaming trying to climb out of her high chair freaked, my poor baby didnt know why all these waiters wearing black and white were singing so loud while looking at her lol. Once her daddy picked her up she was fine.

She even had some limon and look at that face isnt it just too cute.

Once we were done with dinner we walked accross the street to a little park and fed the ducks. Chyanne was amazed at the little critters in the water.

Sweet Chyanne Turned ONE.....

My mom and I slaved for months making her outfit and party decorations like pom poms, centerpieces, flowers etc. I hate that I did not get a lot more pictures but I was too busy enjoying myself to take some. We had two pinatas which the kids loved a snack goody bag and another goody bag full of toys. I feel so dumb because when I was putting the toy goody bag i realized that the cool stickers I had bought where not stickers but fake tattoos..... yes I know the horror but hey too late.

I had planed on making the cupcakes myself but everyone kept telling me that it was a bad idea because we were talking about 100 of them and everyone knows I am not a baker at all. I was able to find someone locally that was willing to make them without charging me an arm and a leg, she was great and they were super tasty too. For entertainment my husband decided to rent a bounce house for the kids and I think that was a great idea because said kids went crazy in there..... I had booked a face painter for an hour and posibly two to paint the childrens faces but she had a medical emergency and cancelled half an hour before the party which saddened me but hey it was a family emergency and she offered to do our next party for free and that of course made me smile really big.

Chyanne had a great time altough she was extremely tired because she refused to sleep and miss anything exciting. She enjoyed her party very much and whent crazy on her cake we sat her in her high chair and handed her a small cake and she devoured it and also shared with mommy and daddy. I am so glad that I had a bithday outfit change with me because let me tell you a ONE year old with free access to a cake can be a mess a really big mess. After changing her outfit it was time to open Presents.... let me tell you that I had never ever been to a one year old's birthday party with so many presents, we opened presents for almost two hours and for every one of them you heard a gasp from Chyanne (something that she has learned from her mommy) or a awww, oooooooo...

Her party was four hours long and home we went to enjoy ourselves and try to organize one crazy nursery full of presents .

See what I mean, look at all these presents. I will gladly tell you that it did get cleaned.

Party date was 8/20/11 and her actual birthday is 8/23/11
