Chyanne's actual birthday

Chyanne' actual birthday was a very special one. I asked my bosses for the day off to make the whole entire day about her andd that is exactly what I did.

I invited my mom to spend the morning and part of the afternoon until my husband got off work and she loved the idea. We woke up bright and early and put her tutu outfit on (I had to wash it at least twice to get all of the frosting from her birthday party off) and off we went for a fun day. We went to the mall to have her picture taken and had breakfast there and let me tell you a beautiful baby in a tutu gets a lot of attention and this proud momma loves it. While we waited to be called four her turn to take pictures I took her to the little candy shop next door and bought her a very small candy :) (I dont want cavities)

She put on a show at picture people while they took her picture... she smiled so big and laughed out loud for the whole room to see and this is my favorite picture (this is a picture of a picture and it doesnt give it justice)

After the pictures I wanted to take her to Yougurtland to have a nice yougurt ice cream with lots of fruits in it.... as you can see it was a hit and she loved it (so did my mom)

after a relaxing hour sitting outside having ice cream we went back home where we waited for daddy to get off work to head out to dinner. We visited our favorite mexican restaurant and she ate everything we gave her. Our regular waiter brought a bowl of ice cream with a candle and we started singing happy birthday and then she FREAKED screaming trying to climb out of her high chair freaked, my poor baby didnt know why all these waiters wearing black and white were singing so loud while looking at her lol. Once her daddy picked her up she was fine.

She even had some limon and look at that face isnt it just too cute.

Once we were done with dinner we walked accross the street to a little park and fed the ducks. Chyanne was amazed at the little critters in the water.

We were able to get a family picture taken by my wonderful sister in law.

We can not believe that our little girl is one year old

Daddy's Girl

When I was pregnant I always envisioned the beautiful bond that my husband would have with our child and when we were told that our baby would be a bouncing baby girl all I could think of was that she was going to be a daddys girl. My husband and daughter share a very special bond, it is something that I can not explain... I think that its because of me being in the ICU right after her birth and him having to care for her by himself for the first 24 hours and basically do everything for her since I wasnt well enough to do it myself with my cesarean and CHF. The way that he can calm her down just by singing "You are My Sunshine" in her ear, the way that he can sit in his chair and she will lay still until she falls asleep in his arms(something that she will never do with me), The way that he makes her smile really big and brighten her eyes just by walking through the door, The way that he kisses her so sofly on her cheek and she puts her arm around him. I am amazed at how great of a daddy he is with so much patience and care. I sit here typing these words and my eyes fill with happy tears.With that I am excited for the future,  I look forward to many more memories and years together.  

A daughter is someone you laugh with, and dream with and love with all your heart.

Chyanne throughout the months

I couldnt figure out how to update on all of the months and lets see 2,343 pictures of my daughter on my phone (yeah I know, I am a proud momma what can I say) so  I created two collages with pictures through out the months.... hope you enjoy... next post will be about her nursery which turned out great.
