Remember my crazy birth?
Well the pictures from that day were stored in my sisters laptop that crashed over a year ago, I believed my pictures were gone. I cried for the loss of those pictures for a while but all of that changed two nights ago when I received this text in the middle of the night. I read the text and cried because she somehow got the pictures and printed them for me. I love these pictures of special moments that I missed and the wonderful person that took them, my sister.
Sorry that the pictures are NOT in order.
Ps I was extremely swollen

Hidden blessing
As some of you know I have been on the hunt for the perfect job, something that I have never been through before although I have been working since I graduated high school.
I have always helped my parents with their small business because they are mostly spanish speaking and I do most of the secretarial work. Right after graduating high school a friend of mine helped me get hired at a restaurant where I was a hostess, waitress and a cashier for a little over two years.
One day while working at said restaurant two very nice business men came in and after learning that I was bilingual they asked me to quit the restaurant to be their receptionist and that is what I did. I was there for five years until I recently left to try something different. I was without a job for around three weeks when I found what I thought was a perfect job for me but it wasn't, it just was not what I was looking for as a long term position. I was there for around 6/7 weeks and completely hated it. It was affecting my mood at home and I would stress about it. My bosses were amazing and super sweet it was just the job that I wasn't happy with.
Well I think my bosses noticed because yesterday morning they talked to me and "let me go".
I was not upset or disappointed because I did not like it and strongly believe that I will find something better very soon.
I believe it's a hidden blessing because I was immediately contacted by a friend offering to guide me in the right direction to find a with her company. Today I took the test for that job and I passed it, now i just have to go through the process of finding the perfect spot for me.

He is 26 now
It's hard to believe that the little 16 (almost 17) year old that asked me out nine years is now 26 years old.
I received his gift Friday morning and it was the wrong one. I was so bummed out and upset about it but figured that if he didn't like it I would exchange it.
Chy and I gave it to him Friday evening because I could not wait and I suck at waiting. He loved it and was very excited about it.
On his actual birthday Saturday we woke up and just lounged around the house until we headed to dinner with friends later In the day. The birthday boy wanted to go to the Elephant bar and I am glad he did because dinner was great. We also wanted to go watch a new movie (End of Watch) but when we went to drop of Chy at his dads we ended up staying. We had a great time and Chy and my husband got to meet Mckenzie who is the newest member of the family and now three weeks old. It was so sweet to watch Chy around her.
He overall had a great birthday.

Chyanne's doctor visit
We decided to take to her pediatrician on Tuesday because of a what seems to be a bad mosquito bite that will not go away.
It was noticed three weeks ago and its on the right side of her belly button. It looked just like a mosquito bite so I kept her from scratching and put a cream on it to help with the itching. It started to go away then started getting irritated and bigger, this time I decided to put cream on it and keep a band aid over it because maybe she was itching the area when we weren't looking. A couple of days ago I checked it only to find that it had formed a little knot under the skin and was red once again.
I did some research and MRSA, Staph, infected mosquito bite, sebaceous cyst or boil were the things that seemed to be what was going on. I immediately called her pediatrician and scheduled an appointment for the next day and applied ointment and put a band aid over it until the time of the appointment.
The doctor came in and after talking to Chy for a little bit about her birthday party she finally had a look and this is what she said:
"Well it doesn't not look like MRSA, staph or a boil because it is not draining and there is no point to it (meaning a red pointy dot)"
"It looks to me like an infected mosquito bite"
"it can also be a sebaceous cyst the size of a dime"
With that we were headed back home with an antibiotic prescription and an antibacterial bar of soap.
A followup appointment has been scheduled to go back in 10 days and see if its smaller or better yet gone.

Look at what my husband is getting from us for his birthday
My husbands birthday is this Saturday and after not being able to come up with anything different to give him I bought him this. It's a another watch and I cant wait to see his reaction when we give it to him.
I also wanted to put a nice dinner together at our house for him or maybe a dinner at a restaurant with some friends and family but he didn't like the idea. He said that he wanted a low key birthday. I am okay with that, just a nice dinner and going over to his grandparents having a cake, opening presents and going back home.
I told him last night "babe are you sure you don't want a nice dinner with family and friends? I mean your birthday falls on a Saturday and next time that will happen again it will be 2018" he looked at me as if I just said something crazy and laughed.
This is the watch
I guess I took the snap shot late at night
before my battery died lol
PS I say another watch because this will be the third one I have given him in nine years.

My Dreams about having more children
I have always wanted more than one child and to be completely honest with you I wanted four while my husband wanted only two. Before Chyanne I told him to meet me in the middle and we would have three. Those dreams of a house with little children running around our house came to an end on August 23, 2010 the day of my diagnosis as the doctor said " you will never be able to carry another child", the importance of the phrase didn't resonate at the time because I had a brand new beautiful little girl and was the only thing that mattered.
Time went by and Chyanne started to notice other little kids and she would laugh in delight while saying "mommy baby, mommy look baby" and I started to want that second child even more. I have done my research in the past two years and have seen other PPCM mommas go on with another completely normal pregnancy. I will be lying if i would say that I don't get excited when I hear about those successful stories and that it gives me hope that one day Chy will laugh in delight over a little sibling.
I am extremely grateful for my life, my beautiful healthy daughter and my little family but that doesn't make me want another baby any less. I want to have my kids running around the house chasing each other, I want to have my kids jumping out of bed Christmas morning to open their presents, I want to see my children sitting on the kitchen table coloring while talking about their day and Chyanne deserves a little brother or sister to confide in.
My husband would also love another child but he is scared, he is scared of the bad that could happen to either me or the baby. I don't blame him because I can not imagine being in his shoes and seeing your pregnant wife in distress and not being able to do anything at all but watch and offer support.
I am tired of hearing people say:
-Why do you want another? you should be happy that you at least have one.
-Why do you want to risk your life or leaving your little girl without a mother?
- You are being selfish for wanting so badly to be able to carry another child.
I am also tired of the:
- Hurry up and give Chyanne a sibling because she is already two years old.
- It's time to try for the boy.
- Don't wait too long before having another baby because they wont get along.
people may not mean to but it hurts to have to answer questions and retort to statements like that.
With that I will say that I love my daughter more than anything and she means the world to me and her daddy. Her smile turns any bad day into a good one.
We will decide if another baby is in the future for us and no one can make that decision for us. I hope that soon there will be more information as to what is the cause of PPCM and hopefully a cure because I know many of my fellow PPCM mammas feel the same way.

Nine years ago and six years ago on September 16
On September 16 it will be nine years since we started dating and six years since our engagement
I can not believe how fast time goes by.
Nine years since that warm day in high school walking to math class in our junior year when he held my hands and asked me so sweetly to be his girlfriend after two years of friendship.
I had a crush on him for a long time and from what I know now so did he but we were just friends for two years where he had girlfriends and I had boyfriends. We had classes together and we would always sit next to eachother and flirt and everyone noticed, I know this because they would always say to us "you guys are going to end up together and dating" we just laughed at that.
Fast forward a couple of months and he finally found the courage to ask me out.. I remember the feeling of excitement, nerves and butterflies in my stomach. The handsome guy who I had a crush on who I insisted to walk by just to say hi was asking me to be his girlfriend finally and of course I said yes!
Three years later on that same date he proposed to me on the Pismo Beach pier and it was a day that I will never forget. He forgot to get on his knee because he was so nervous but to me it was perfect and his mom and sister were able to get it on video.
Now here we are married for a little over 3 years and with a little girl who brightens up our lifes. Yes we argue, yes we disagree, yes we annoy eachother but we LOVE eachother and we are partners. I still get butterflies when my phone rings and I see his name pop up or when I hear his truck pull up to our house.
